News: Dr. Ron Bordessa joins the Ontario Philharmonic

The Ontario Philharmonic takes great pleasure in welcoming Dr. RON BORDESSA as its Honorary Patron.

The President of the University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT), Dr. Bordessa has also recently joined the Board of Directors of the orchestra.

A highly respected leader who needs no introduction and whose accomplishments are outstanding, Dr. Bordessa will bring his knowledge and inspiration to the Ontario Philharmonic. He has a deep understanding of the importance of the arts in society and is a champion of the OP.

In the past years, he has been instrumental in forging a solid relationship between the orchestra and the university. This beneficial partnership has brought forth the initiative of providing our orchestra with a new home starting in the fall of this year at Oshawa's Regent Theatre.

We are honoured to welcome Dr. Bordessa to the OP team.
