Great soloists and fabulous music are in store for 2010-2011!

We are particularly pleased to announce that our season will be held in the orchestra's new home - Oshawa's Regent Theatre. We wish to acknowledge the generous support of the University of Ontario Institute of Technology which has undertaken to renovate this historical building to its former glory and has made it available to the Ontario Philharmonic.

There is a lot of excitement in the air with OP's season at the Regent Theatre.

We invite you to browse this website and discover the exhilarating music and guests our internationally distinguished Music Director, Marco Parisotto, has programmed for you. We are delighted to partner with  the Oshawa Hospital Foundation on November 26th for a special OHF fundraising concert - "Sparkling Vienna" - with the outstanding violinist Philippe Quint. Les Mis superstar, the incomparable Michael Burgess, returns by popular demand; one of the world's great pianists, Anton Kuerti will grace the stage for a much-anticipated performance of Brahms; OP's own Leslie Newman presents a flute concerto by renowned Canadian composer Jim McGath (of "Degrassi" TV series fame); and the electrifying Erika Dobosiewicz brings to life music by tango legend Astor Piazzolla.

Remember to join the Ontario Philharmonic at our Annual Fundraising Gala coming up on Friday, September 24th at the Ajax Convention Centre - An evening of "Musical Delicacies and Gourmet Cuisine" with Michael Burgess as our special guest!
